3. Vivekananda Rock Memorial
Description: Vivekananda Memorial is situated in the middle of the sea. An awesome place to visit in Kanyakumari. It has a meditation Hall to meditate. The view from here is great.

4. Kanyakumari Pier
Description : This area is like a path made of Stones from shore to some distance inside the Sea. The Sun rise from this point is perfect.

5. Kanyakumari Bhagavathi Amman Temple
Description: The deity God here is Bhagavathi amman. Her Nose ring is made of Emerald and is very Bright which acted as light for the sailors to find the shore.

6. Vattakottai Fort
Description: This fort was built in 18th century during Travancore Kingdom. It acted as Coastal defence fortification and barrack areas to protect the port areas.

7. Kanyakumari Tirumala Temple
Description: The deity God here is Lord Venkateswara. It is a replica of Tirupati Balaji Temple. The environment is very calm and peaceful.

8. Our Lady of Ransom Church
Description: Our Lady of Ransom Church is a famous Catholic Church that is located in the Kanyakumari District of Tamil Nadu and was built in dedication to Mother Mary.

All the above areas are around the sea shore within the travel time of 30 minutes and hence can be covered within one day. The following places are a little far away from the Sea shore which are located at Nagercoil region. If you are planning to visit all the places prefer to visit the places from No.1 to No.8 in a single day and the places from No.9 to No.12 the next day
9. Padmanabhapuram Palace
Description: The palace was constructed around 1601 CE by Iravi Varma Kulasekhara Perumal. It gives a brief knowledge about the construction during the 17th century

10. Suchindram Shree Thanumalayan Swamy Temple

11. Thirparappu water Falls
Description: People are allowed to take bath in this water falls. Children will enjoy the bath. The Kodayar makes its descend at Tirparappu and the water fall at this place is about 13km from Pechiparai dam.
